The Sunlight BonAge Research Program
We invite you to join Sunlight's current research program, which builds on the success of previous programs, beginning in 1998. Participating researchers will benefit from a unique chance to study a wide variety of subjects using Sunlight Medical's medical diagnostic products.

The program provides an opportunity to work with Sunlight BonAge, a revolutionary ultrasound-based device used to measure bone age in children. Studies using the BonAge system demonstrate the ability of the device to produce an accurate assessment of bone age using ultrasound for both Caucasian and Asian groups. The device produces a quantitative result presented in years and months based on the widely accepted Greulich and Pyle Atlas; results are highly correlated with X-ray radiographs based on the same atlas.

A complete research system for growth and development assessment of your patients is currently being offered. In conjunction with the tracking of bone age results, the growth module of the device provides software for the tracking of other growth and development parameters according to ethnic-specific databases, (including height, weight, BMI, and others). In addition, in order to provide a more comprehensive picture of bone growth, research software for measuring bone Speed of Sound along the radius and tibia is included.

The Sunlight Research Package includes the following:
The research version of Sunlight BonAge at a significantly reduced price, including     relevant probe(s) for assessing skeletal maturity and measuring bone SOS, applicable     reference databases, and special research software
Ongoing assistance with research protocol and statistical analysis, provided by     Sunlight's Clinical Department.
Installation of the device, operator training, and ongoing technical support, provided by     Sunlight's Customer Support Department.
Registration for the Sunlight BonAge Research Program ends December 31, 2006.
