NDC, Inc. and Its Affiliates to Sell Sunlight Omnisense^TM 7000S

Somerset, NJ, USA ( May 11, 2001) Sunlight Medical Inc., a leading provider of point- of-care medical solutions, has announced that National Distribution and Contracting, Inc. (NDC), one of the largest organizations of medical, surgical, and dental supply distributors in the world, will distribute the Sunlight Omnisense^TM 7000S bone strength assessment device. NDC is the parent company of Abco, ADC, CIDA, and Starline. Under the terms of this agreement, NDC has unlimited rights to sell the product in the United States.

The Sunlight Omnisense^TM 7000S bone sonometer, a bone strength assessment device, is equipped with patented Omnipath^TM axial transmission technology. The device is an office-based solution to aid physicians in the diagnosis of osteoporosis and to easily monitor bone changes over time at the point of care. Clinical studies around the world confirm its accuracy and high precision level. The Sunlight Omnisense^TM 7000S is the first non-X-ray based device with a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved claim for monitoring bone changes which occur in the early years following menopause (approximately 50-65).

The Omnisense 7000S’s patented technology, Omnipath^TM , is a new concept in bone strength assessment. Omnipath^TM technology non-invasively measures the speed of ultrasonic waves (SOS) propagating axially along the distal 1/3 radius.
